Ju-in, a former scout for a promising baseball team, meets Gi-jeong, a high school student dreaming of becoming a professional player. While everyone else speaks of Gi-jeong’s limitations, Ju-in alone instantly recognizes his genius potential and offers sincere advice to ensure he does not give up on baseball. To Gi-jeong, Ju-in was the only person in his entire life who believed in him just as he was. “Your hands and feet are bigger than mine, too. So you can grow taller than me.” However, their happiness is short-lived; Ju-in resigns from his scouting position without a word and vanishes completely. Five years later— Ju-in returns to his former team with the new title of Power Analysis Manager, where he encounters Gi-jeong once again, now a professional player who has grown beyond recognition. Although flustered by Gi-jeong’s changed appearance, Ju-in finds his gaze drawn to him repeatedly… “The number I couldn’t get back then… could I take it now?” The time between the two, frozen in longing, begins to move again on the scorching pitcher’s mound.
