Arcadia
Van Clark returns to his hometown to search for his missing grandmother. There, he is entrusted with a suspicious mission: For one year, he must protect “it” and make sure no one takes it away. The strange cell his grandmother left behind with a note grows at an astonishing rate, far beyond anything he expected. Tempted by the promise of one million dollars upon completing the task, Van reluctantly takes on the role of caretaker. But before long, the situation begins to spiral in an unexpected direction. > “Then teach me.” > “What?” > “Like how you taught me to read… teach me how to kiss too.” Dia, now fully grown, starts making shameless advances toward Van. > “I’ve never done it before, Van. You’d probably enjoy having me too.” > “…What did you just say?” > “I’m young. Tight, strong… and big there too. They say bigger is better….” Dia’s fearless seduction leaves Van both dumbfounded and deeply conflicted. Though he repeatedly rejects the advances of the boy he personally raised, he finds himself unable to deny the feelings gradually pulling him in. Eventually, the time comes for Dia to leave. And Van is forced to make a choice: One million dollars… or the boy. Caught between duty and desire, Van’s turmoil only grows deeper.
